At the end of the award ceremony, it is not only announced who has made it onto the podium, but also a list of 20-25 choreographies for the DANCE UNIT GALA evening.
The selection criteria have nothing to do with the ranking of the competition. It is more about the originality of the pieces. Having a particular recognition value is an advantage.
On the evening itself, an independent jury consisting of dancers from the international dance scene will evaluate the performances. They will award the grants to the winners of the GALA event. Renowned guests from the dance scene will be invited as well.
The GALA evening lasts approximately 135 minutes including an intermission.
Tickets can be purchased here in the Dance Unit Shop till May 20th 2026.
You can also purchase a ticket spontaneously at the box office on site. (free choice of seats)
