Dance Unit is coming to Turkey!
22. September 2026The Dance Unit FINALS are coming back to INNSBRUCK!
After the successful 2026 edition, the World Finals will return to Olympiaworld Innsbruck in 2027.
But this isn't simply a return to the same city. Innsbruck has become part of the Dance Unit story and the numbers behind the competition show just how much that story has grown.

More than a competition
The World FINALS are about much more than competing!
Dance Unit combines competition with workshops, auditions, scholarships and the GALA, creating opportunities for dancers to perform, learn, connect and take their next steps in dance.
At the World FINALS, dancers can also take part in workshops with internationally renowned dancers and choreographers and audition for opportunities such as the Joffrey Ballet School Summer Intensives or Trainee Program in New York City.
From 2024 to 2026: a growing international community
In just three seasons, Dance Unit has grown significantly:
2024
-
1,686 registered dancers
-
8 countries
-
78 dance schools
-
904 choreographies
2026
-
4,575 registered dancers
-
36 countries
-
513 dance schools
-
3,125 choreographies
That means dancers and dance schools from 36 countries have already participated in Dance Unit. The participating countries range from Germany, Austria and Poland to Spain, the United States, Brazil, China, Turkey and many more.
Why Innsbruck?
Set in the heart of the Alps, Innsbruck offers a unique setting for an international dance event.
The city combines culture, sport and an international atmosphere with the mountains directly surrounding it — making the World Finals not only a competition experience, but also a destination for dancers, studios and families.
And after welcoming the World Finals in 2026, The Olympiaworld in Innsbruck will once again become the meeting point for the international Dance Unit community.
Olympiaworld offers the perfect setting for the Dance Unit WORLD FINALS, combining a professional event environment with the space needed to bring dancers, studios, families and audiences together. The venue allows us to create a true Dance Unit world: from the competition stage to the audience experience. Its central location makes it easy to explore Innsbruck and the surrounding Alps alongside the competition.
With Innsbruck having hosted the Olympic Winter Games twice, in 1964 and 1976, the city has a long-standing sporting legacy. Returning to Olympiaworld means bringing Dance Unit back to a place shaped by competition, ambition and the Olympic spirit, a fitting setting for the WORLD FINALS.

A stage for the next chapter.
Our long-term vision is to make the World Finals an international hub for the dance industry — bringing together dancers, choreographers, studios, brands and industry professionals.
And now, the next chapter begins:
